From Augusta to Cape Town!

We are deep in the midst of last minute preparations for the 2018 Cape Town trip! We are nearly able to smell the salty air and feel the warm smiles of old and new friends.

Yesterday we were lovingly and prayerfully comissioned by our Warren family. Our tanks are filled; ready to be emptied for the glory of our God.

As we prepare to launch on Wednesday morning, here are a few things you may want to be aware of:

  • Everyone traveling to Cape Town this year has been there in the last two years. This means we will have wonderful opportunities for continued relationship building and growth. Will you pray that God paves the way for Gospel conversations and the encouragement of His people there? Will you pray for quick connections to be made?
  • Similar to last year, we will have the gift of a two-pronged ministry in Cape Town. Both Construction & Women’s Ministry to the Home From Home Mums will fill our days. Will you pray for the two teams that we will branch into during our time there?
  • It is no surprise with a Kingdom centered trip, that the enemy is already prowling around the details and participants of our team. Will you please pray for physical, spiritual, and emotional health?
  • The water crisis is still very much a crisis. Will you please pray for rain? We are packing rain jackets with hope! If you would like to learn more about what this looks like in Cape Town, visit this link.

Thank you for going along with us in prayerful support. God is Good and His hands are on the people of Cape Town, South Africa. We anxiously await the chance to spend a short time there in His work.

Hope-filled & Grateful,

Cynthia and The Cape Town Team

Praying for the Cape Town Team and the hearts that each of you will touch. Having experienced this mission trip ,I know how you will be blessed as you love on the Swazi people and I am so excited for each of you! Praying that you all stay healthy and you get to put your rain jackets to use.
      In Christ,
      Merrilee Coley
