Visiting and Touring

Yesterday was a day of blessings.

We had the blessing of spending time with our dear friend Wilma who we met last year. She invited us into her living room and though we planned to minister to her; her faith story is one that deeply encouraged us. The ladies on our team were able to pray for her five foster children by name and to hear specific ways we can pray for their household.

We cannot wait to spend more time with all the other ladies.

Though we experienced small frustrations and were held up by trivial things such as traffic and details, the day was the Lord’s and He quickly showed us His plans are always better.

Our evening ended with a bit of RAIN! It may not seem like much to us, but every single drop is a blessing. We continue to pray for more rain for this city.

This morning our team split in two in order to be tourists for a few hours. Three visited Seal Island in hopes of seeing sharks, while the rest of us went to Table Mountain for gorgeous views of Cape Town. The small portions of the trip in which we are able to see Cape Town in its beauty allow us to broaden our understanding of the culture and the people that love their country. It’s a lovely experience to see many different aspects of the place in which we minister.

Tomorrow we look forward to worshipping with Ruth and James at their church and beginning the work in Stellenbosch on Monday!

Updates/ Prayer Requests:

  • Our last crate is already on its way and we should have it soon! We are praying for no more delays.
  • Please continue to pray with us that we will be bright lights wherever we go and that the Holy Spirit will open the door for relationships & gospel conversations.

Thank you for your continued prayers and love.

You are in my prayers each day while you minister in Cape Town. There is no doubt that these lovely people see the Love of God in your faces. Your message is so powerful and tells of our greatest gift from God. How blessed they are to have you lift their spirits! May God continue to use you as you serve Him. And yes, I am praying for rain that is desperately needed. Love πŸ’• to each of you!
